At Grows As It Goes, we believe a lifestyle brand should be more than just beautiful products—it should be a way of thinking, a daily practice, and a path of continuous evolution.

The name Grows As It Goes comes from a phrase I’ve long held close. Inspired by the Latin motto “Crescit Eundo”—which translates to “it grows as it goes”—the words come from the Roman poet Lucretius in De Rerum Natura (On the Nature of Things), where he used them to describe a thunderbolt gaining power as it moves through the sky. It’s also the state motto of New Mexico, my home state and personal sanctuary of inspiration. For me, it speaks to the beauty of becoming: the slow, steady evolution that happens when we live with intention.

As a lifelong student of creativity and self-reliance, I’ve spent the last four decades immersed in learning—from organic gardening, wellness, and yoga, to cooking, cello, photography, fashion design, and business. I’ve always been a passionate DIYer with a curious spirit, often asking, “How hard can it be?” just before diving into something new. That fearless curiosity has shaped every chapter of my journey.

Now, I’m channeling a lifetime of lessons into something deeply personal and purposeful: the launch of the Grows As It Goes Studio and Showroom.
