Tiny Hands, Big Ideas: Mixed Media Art Workshop for Kids & Their Grown-up

Ages 5+ (with a care giver)

Looking for a fun and creative summer art activity to enjoy with your little one? Join us for Tiny Hands, Big Ideas, a hands-on mixed media art workshop for children ages 5+ and their parents or caregivers! Designed to inspire imagination, self-expression, and family bonding, this 3-hour workshop invites young artists to explore the world of recycled art, found object sculpture, and colorful mixed media projects—perfect for curious minds and tiny hands.

Held in our bright, welcoming studio space, the workshop is set up in fun, interactive art stations where kids and parents can explore together. From painting cardboard sculptures to building recycled robots, weaving with fabric scraps, and printing with natural textures, each station offers a new sensory-rich experience.

Workshop Highlights:

  • Ages 5+ – Designed for kids with grown-up participation encouraged

  • Multiple Hands-On Art Stations – Includes painting, collage, nature-based art, recycled sculpture, and more

  • Learn About Famous Artists – Kid-friendly introductions to Picasso, Nevelson, Cornell, and others

  • Eco-Friendly Focus – We use mostly recycled and found materials to encourage sustainable creativity

  • Group Art Show & Tell – Every child gets to present their artwork at the end

  • Includes Snack Time + Clean-Up Game
